DURHAM, N.C. – The third-ranked Duke women’s tennis team defeated Georgia Tech, 6-1, Friday evening in Sheffield Indoor Tennis Center. The Blue Devils are now 10-1 overall and 3-0 in ACC play as the Yellow Jackets fall to 4-5 on the year and 1-1 in conference action.
“I thought our doubles was a bit of a struggle and it has been the past couple of matches,” head coach Jamie Ashworth said. “We tried some different combinations again today. I thought we really competed well in singles. Georgia Tech the last couple of years has given us a lot of trouble.
