CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – No. 25 Duke women's lacrosse dropped a 16-11 decision at No. 15 North Carolina Thursday afternoon at Dorrance Field.
With the setback, the Blue Devils move to 10-7 overall and 4-5 in conference play as the Tar Heels elevate to 10-5 (6-3 ACC). Three Tar Heels registered hat tricks and were led by Caroline Godine with six points.
Offensively, Duke was led by Carly Bernstein with four goals while Lexi Schmalz and Maddie McCorkle added two points each.
