CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – No. 13 Virginia (35-10, 13-10 ACC) scored runs in the final five innings they batted in on Saturday afternoon, to defeat No. 20 Duke (30-13, 13-9 ACC) at Disharoon Park, 10-2.
The loss on Saturday snapped an eight-game winning streak for the Blue Devils, the longest of the season.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Junior Alex Stone opened the scoring for the Blue Devils in the top of the fourth, hitting a solo home run to left field, 1-0.
- Virginia tied the ballgame in the bottom of the fourth, 1-1.
