No. 20 Air Force Upends No. 9 Duke in Overtime, 10-9

DURHAM, N.C.—Air Force sophomore attackman finished a fastbreak goal with 10 seconds left in overtime to lift the No. 20 Falcons over ninth-ranked Duke in non-conference men’s lacrosse action this evening at Koskinen Stadium. Nick Hruby assisted on the winning goal.

Duke falls to 6-4 overall and suffered its first overtime loss since 2010, while Air Force (7-2) pushes its win streak to seven games. Chad Cohan paced Duke’s offense with three goals and an assist, while Walsch had three goals and four assists for the Falcons.

The Blue Devils jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first quarter and extended their advantage to 8-3 at the 5:10 mark of the third quarter before Air Force mounted a furious comeback.
