DURHAM, N.C. – The No. 2 Demon Deacons defeated the Blue Devils 7-0 at home inside the Sheffield Indoor Tennis Center Sunday afternoon, ending Duke’s six match home winning-streak.
Wake Forest improved its record to 14-2 on the season and 2-0 in the ACC. The Blue Devils fell to 5-7 overall and 0-2 in league play.
In doubles, Wake Forest duo Petros Chrysochos and Bar Botzer defeated senior Catalin Mateas and sophomore Sean Sculley 6-2. On court two, juniors Spencer Furman and Robert Levine regained momentum for the Blue Devils, winning 6-3 on court three over Melios Efstathiou and Siddhand Banthia.
