DURHAM, N.C. – History is on the line Thursday night for the No. 2 Duke Blue Devils (16-1-0, 9-0-0 ACC), as they head to Charlottesville, Va., to take on the No. 10 Virginia Cavaliers (10-3-4, 5-1-3 ACC) looking to be crowned the 2017 ACC regular season champions.
The 2017 season has already seen the Blue Devils make numerous marks in the record books, including their 16-match winning streak and 9-0-0 ACC record, both bests in school history. A win Thursday night would clinch the ACC regular season championship for the third time in school history and first since the 2011 campaign.
