DURHAM – Sophomore Kyle Filipowski posted a game-high 25 points while adding eight rebounds and senior Jeremy Roach tallied 17 points but it wasn't enough as No. 2 Duke (1-1) dropped a tightly-contested matchup, 78-73, to No. 12 Arizona on Friday night at Cameron Indoor Stadium.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Arizona opened the game with two straight baskets before Mark Mitchell got Duke on the board with a layup off an Arizona turnover.
- The first media timeout saw the two teams knotted at six apiece and Duke took its first lead of the night out of the break via a floater by Mitchell.
