DURHAM – Less than a week after opening preseason practice, the second-ranked Duke women's soccer team will hit the road for the first of two exhibition games this week. The Blue Devils travel to Athens, Ga., for a contest Monday, Aug. 8 at 6 p.m., at UGA Soccer Stadium at Turner Soccer Complex.
It marks the second straight season the Blue Devils and Bulldogs have met on the pitch, with Duke collecting a 2-0 win last year in Durham. Duke registered two second half goals from Delaney Graham and Tess Boade, while Ruthie Jones and Holly Stam combined for the shutout in goal.
