CLEMSON, S.C. – The No. 18 Duke rowing team turned in a third-place finish at the ACC Championship Sunday on Lake Hartwell on the campus of Clemson. In a highly competitive battle throughout the day, the Blue Devils secured 72 points as they qualified all five boats to the Grand Final for the first time in program history.
In Grand Final competition, the Blue Devils captured three medals with one second-place finish in the V4, two third-place finishes in the 3V8 and 2V4 and two fourth-place finishes in the V8 and 2V8. This morning in preliminary race action, the Blue Devils claimed the top spot in the V4 and 2V4, second in the V8 and 3V8 and third in the 2V8.
