WEYMOUTH, Mass. – The 14th-ranked Duke women's tennis team opened its two-match road swing Friday with a 6-1 victory at Boston College, which was played at the Weymouth Club in Weymouth, Mass. In the contest, graduate student Meible Chi collected her 41st career ACC singles win to tie a Blue Devil school record.
With the win, the Blue Devils moved to 12-5 overall and 7-4 in the ACC, while the Eagles dropped to 4-8, 2-8.
The Blue Devils got off to a hot start in doubles play as the 39th-ranked duo of Kelly Chen and Georgia Drummy collected a 6-0 victory over Reagan Posorske and Maria Ross on the third court.
