COLUMBUS, Ohio – After a long three-hour match, the fifth-ranked Duke women's tennis team suffered its first loss of the season Friday evening on the road to 12th-ranked Ohio State, 4-2.
With the setback, the Blue Devils dip to 4-1 while the Buckeyes improve to 3-0.
For the first time this season, the Blue Devils dropped the doubles point. Chloe Beck and Kelly Chen picked up the first doubles victory with a 6-2 win over Isabelle Boulais/Kolie Allen on court one before the Buckeyes secured the two remaining courts.
