DURHAM - Graduate student Maddie Jenner broke the NCAA Division I all-time draw control record as the 11th-ranked Duke women's lacrosse team cruised to a 24-1 victory over Gardner-Webb Sunday afternoon at Koskinen Stadium.
With her 18 draw controls today, she now owns 646 for her career, surpassing Jessica Karwacki's 645 (Robert Morris, 2013-16). She added a goal and an assist to round out her day.
Offensively, the Blue Devils were led by junior Katie DeSimone with eight points from five goals and three assists, while Maddie McCorkle added a career-high four goals in the outing.
