DURHAM – The No. 10 Duke softball team swept a doubleheader Friday against visiting Georgia Tech, winning the opening game in a run rule, 11-3, before walking off in the nightcap with a thrilling, 4-3, victory to extend its winning streak to 11 games.
Freshman D'Auna Jennings provided the winning blow in the bottom of the seventh inning in game two, as the Blue Devils (39-8, 15-5) rallied from a 3-2 deficit entering the home half. Jennings was 4-for-7 at the plate for the day, including a 3-for-3 effort in game one.
