DURHAM – Coming off spring break, the 10th-ranked Duke women's tennis team returned to action on Wednesday afternoon inside the Sheffield Indoor Tennis Center and collected a 7-0 win over Northwestern to close the non-conference portion of their 2023 slate.
The Blue Devils improved to 16-2 overall and won their 22nd-straight home match to tie for the fifth-longest streak in school history. Northwestern fell to 5-9 on the year.

• Northwestern came out in doubles with the hot hand taking leads on all three courts early.
• After falling behind, 3-1, on court three, Duke's tandem of and battled back to take the match, 6-3, by winning five straight games.
