DURHAM, N.C. – Junior Heather Morris found the back of the cage three times and freshman Rose Tynan twice to guide fourth-ranked Duke to a 6-2 victory over William & Mary Sunday at Williams Field at Jack Katz Stadium. The Blue Devils moved to 4-2 on the year following the non-conference win.
Sophomore forward Ashley Kristen added a career-high three assists as Duke turned in its highest scoring output of the 2015 season.
After surrendering a 2-1 loss to No. 12 Wake Forest Friday evening, the Blue Devils wasted little time in getting on the board Sunday afternoon.
