DURHAM, N.C. – The PwC SMU Athletic Forum announced Tuesday that Duke senior running back Jaquez Moore has been named a preseason candidate for the 2024 Doak Walker Award.
The Forum annually presents the award to the nation's most outstanding running back.
After playing in all 13 games last season, Moore returns for his senior season as a preseason Third Team All-ACC selection by Athlon Sports. Last year, the Live Oak, Florida, native rushed 116 times for 674 yards, good for an average of 5.81 yards per attempt, while scoring six touchdowns and adding four catches for 64 yards.
