DURHAM – The Duke men's lacrosse trio of Nakeie Montgomery, Brennan O'Neill and Tyler Carpenter are among the 39 players selected to USA Lacrosse Magazine's Preseason All-America teams as announced by the magazine Dec. 20.
Montgomery garnered first team recognition as a midfielder, while O'Neill and Carpenter landed on the second team at attack and long stick midfield, respectively. Duke is one of five programs to have at least three players on the All-America squads.
Montgomery, a USILA first-team All-American in 2021, returns for his final season as a Blue Devil in 2022 with 58 goals and 48 assists to his name.
