RALEIGH, N.C. – Trailing by three heading into the final two innings, the Duke Blue Devils (24-22) reeled off a six-run sixth inning and added one more in the seventh to complete its sixth comeback victory of the season, defeating the NC State Wolfpack (22-22) 7-4 Wednesday in Raleigh.
NC State held the Blue Devils to just one hit entering the sixth inning and looked poised to walk away victorious before Duke launched its rally. After Dominique Salinas was hit by pitch to lead things off, Raine Wilson and Haley Wymbs tallied back-to-back singles to load the bases with no outs.
