DURHAM - Former Duke offensive lineman Jacob Monk was selected in the fifth round of the 2024 NFL Draft by the Green Bay Packers.
Monk was the 163rd overall pick in the draft, and the 28th selection in the fifth round.
Monk, a 6-3, 320-pound Clayton, N.C., product is Duke's third 2024 NFL Draft selection as teammates Graham Barton and DeWayne Carter went to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (26th overall pick) and Buffalo Bills (95th overall pick), respectively. This marks the first time since 2021 that the Blue Devils have had three draft picks in the same year, and the 26th time in program history with three-plus selections.
