DURHAM – Graduate offensive lineman Jacob Monk and redshirt sophomore linebacker Tre Freeman both earned ACC Player of the Week honors following Duke's 24-3 victory over NC State.
Monk was selected as the ACC's Offensive Lineman of the Week, while Freeman garnered Co-Linebacker of the Week honors.
Monk, a Clayton, N.C., native led a Duke offense that registered 301 total yards on just 42 snaps – good for an average of 7.2 yards per play against a NC State defense which entered the week allowing just 5.
