Duke Suffers Narrow Loss
Air Force used a strong fourth quarter to post a comeback 14-13 victory over the Blue Devils Saturday. Duke led 6-1 at one point and held the lead for nearly 53 minutes, but a late push from the Falcons gave them their third victory in four meetings over the Blue Devils. Air Force also won the season opener over Duke in 2017, another one-goal victory at 11-10. It was just the third season-opening loss since 2007. In 2013, Duke lost to Denver before eventually going onto the NCAA Championship. The other loss was in 2017 to Air Force.
