DURHAM – The Duke men's soccer program earned three of the five individual ACC awards and had four players named to either an All-ACC or All-Freshman Team, as the league announced on Wednesday morning.
Sophomore Thorleifur Ulfarsson was named the ACC Offensive Player of the Year, sophomore Peter Stroud was named the ACC Midfielder of the Year and rookie Shakur Mohammed was tabbed as the Freshman of the Year. It is the first time in program history that the Blue Devils have taken home three of the major ACC awards.
