Cassese to be Inducted into U.S. Lacrosse Hall of Fame
Former Duke captain and All-American midfielder Kevin Cassese will be inducted into the U.S. Lacrosse Hall of Fame Saturday, Sept. 29. A three-time All-American, including two first-team selections in 2002 and 2003, Cassese will be inducted as a truly exceptional player. In addition, he took home the Donald MacLaughlin award as the nation’s top midfielder in 2002. Cassese also garnered All-ACC recognition three times and was the conference’s Player of the Year after guiding the Blue Devils to the first to two consecutive ACC titles.
