DURHAM – Duke senior field hockey forward Hannah Miller has been selected to represent USA Field Hockey at the 2023 FIH Indoor Hockey World Cup (IHWC). Miller is one of 14 players chosen by head coach Jun Kentwell to participate following a selection camp in December.
Miller recently spent nearly two weeks training with the USA Field Hockey National Team in Buenos Aires, Argentina. While in Argentina, Miller benefited from training with some of the nation's top players and playing against world powers Argentina and The Netherlands.
"With our starting line-up from our Indoor Pan American Cup winning team unavailable due to other national team commitments, I am pleased that veterans from our 2018 IHWC team Annie McDonough and Sarah Johnson have come back, along with Sam Carlino, to lead our young squad," commented Kentwell.
