DURHAM, N.C.— Prior to lacing up her cleats on the soccer field, Duke University junior Ashton Miller had a love for ice skating. The Blue Devil Network followed her recently to catch her on the ice skating rink and talk about her first love of skating.
Miller, who hails from Okemos, Mich., comes from a family of hockey athletes, but the midfielder made the choice to concentrate on soccer and head to Duke where she has been a steady contributor for the Blue Devils over the last two years. She has seen action in 43 matches, while scoring six goals and assisting on seven others.
