When people talk about the greatest games in Duke history, the 1992 game with Kentucky often comes up and so, too, does the 1991 rematch with UNLV.
The latter game doesn’t always get its full due though because while it’s unquestionably Top Five in terms of great Duke games, and there might be a consensus that it’s Top Two, it’s almost certainly the most intense game Duke has played in the modern era (the Duke-South Carolina games in the late ‘60s, before USC left the ACC might have actually been more intense, but not in a good way).
