DURHAM, N.C.—The Duke University men's soccer team held its annual banquet Tuesday night and awarded five honors for various successes on and off the field.
Senior forward Daniele Proch highlighted the group, garnering the team's Offensive Player of the Year and Most Valuable Player recognition in a vote of the players. Junior Matthias Frick was voted the Defensive Player of the Year, while Hassan Pinto was tabbed the Rookie of the Year. The John Rennie Award, bestowed to the player or players who daily make the team better on and off the field, featured co-winners in Pinto and senior Max Feldman.
