DURHAM, N.C.—It has been nearly 11 months since the Duke men's lacrosse team has officially taken the field. However, the wait is almost over as head coach John Danowski has announced the highly anticipated 2021 schedule.
The unanimous choice as the nation's preseason No. 1 team, Duke will host eight games in Durham, while traveling six times. Unique to this season, the ACC will not host a postseason tournament, but instead play a pair of conference opponents twice. For the Blue Devils, that will be Notre Dame and North Carolina.
In all, Duke is slated to meet six teams in the Nike/US Lacrosse Division I Men's Preseason Top 20, including five in the top 10.
