DUBLIN, Ohio – The seventh-ranked Duke men's golf team steps out of the traditional stroke play competition this week for the Jack Nicklaus Collegiate Invitational – a unique four-team, match-play event at the Muirfield Village Golf Club, featuring the Blue Devils, Clemson, Florida State and host Ohio State.
The match play format will pit No. 7 Duke versus Florida State and Ohio State versus No. 15 Clemson on Monday. The morning session being three foursome matches between the teams, with the afternoon session planned as three four-ball matches.
A total of six points are available per team Monday, with Monday's winning teams advancing to the championship bracket on Tuesday and the losing teams playing for third place.
