DURHAM, N.C. – The ninth-ranked Duke men's golf team received its 25th bid to participate in the NCAA Regionals, including the program’s fifth consecutive regional berth, as the Blue Devils were selected as a No. 2-seed in the Athens Regional.
The selections were made during the NCAA Men’s Golf Selection Show live on Golf Channel Wednesday evening.
The 54-hole regional tournament will be contested May 13-16 at the University of Georgia Golf Course in Athens, Ga. Other teams competing in the Athens Regional are top-seeded Vanderbilt, Georgia, Liberty, Alabama, Tennessee, Campbell, Kentucky, Nevada, SMU, Memphis, UNC Wilmington and Princeton.
