DURHAM – The awards continue to roll in for incoming Blue Devil Nikolas Menendez as the standout defenseman was named the USA Lacrosse High School Boys' National Player of the Year for the 2024 season as announced by USA Lacrosse Magazine on Wednesday.
Menendez was the USA Lacrosse Midwest Player of the Year after his stellar season with Culver Academy (Ind.) The finalists were Timothy Shannehan (Fairfield Prep [Conn.]), Brendan Millon (McDonogh [Md.]), Caden Harshbarger (Lake Mary [Fla.]) and Andrew Cook (Torrey Pines [Calif.]).
