DURHAM, N.C. -- A five-star point guard and the Gatorade Player of the Year from Virginia, Jeremy Roach looks to add his name to the list of elite floor generals to grace the hardwood named for the Blue Devils' Hall of Fame head coach.
Roach comes to Duke as the 18th-ranked overall player, and the fourth-ranked point guard in the ESPN 100 for the Class of 2020. He averaged 19.1 points, 6.3 rebounds and 2.8 assists in leading his Paul IV team to the state title in Virginia. The 6-foot-2 guard was tapped to the 2020 McDonald's All-America roster, to the 2020 Jordan Brand Classic and the 2020 USA Nike Hoops Summit.
