DURHAM, N.C. -- A five-star power forward from Jackson, Miss., Jaemyn Brakefield is the latest in a line of electric finishers that will rock the rims at Cameron Indoor Stadium.
Brakefield starred for Huntington Prep in West Virginia where he was the state' Gatorade Player of the Year as a sophomore, junior and senior -- becoming the first player to be recognized three times in the award's 35-year history. The 6-foot-8 Brakefield averaged 19.2 points, 8.3 rebounds and 3.0 assists as a senior at Huntington Prep.
