Last year it was about new players. This year? It's about new players again.
Duke had Media Day Tuesday and the biggest topic was simply youth. Or, in different terms, lack of an established offensive star, and they lost over 75% of last year's offense.
Duke has no way to replace the polished game of Jahlil Okafor in the post. Who would? The guy was a prodigy.
But what's great about Duke and what makes it a ton of fun to watch Duke develop is that every year Coach K and the staff adapt to what they have to work with, and this year, at least offensively, it moves to the perimeter.
