DURHAM, N.C. – Another day, another honor for Duke senior Kayla McCoy, as she was named a United Soccer Coaches First Team All-American Thursday, the association announced.
McCoy is the 19th player in Duke women’s soccer history to be named an All-American and the 14th to receive a nod from the United Soccer Coaches. The Lincolnwood, Ill., native is the sixth player to receive first team honors by the association and the fourth in the last three seasons, joining Christina Gibbons (2016), Imani Dorsey (2017) and Rebecca Quinn (2017).
