DURHAM, N.C. – Duke University women’s basketball head coach Joanne P. McCallie has added a fourth member to the 2018 recruiting class with the addition of Australian standout Miela Goodchild. The 5-10 combo guard will join the Blue Devils in August of 2018, after signing a letter of intent this past week.
A native of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, Goodchild will bring a wealth of international experience with her to Durham, N.C., as she has competed on numerous Australian national teams over the last four years.
“Miela is special,” said McCallie. “She’s got great talent and great skills; point guard, two guard, really any kind of guard.
