McAdorey Named USA Lacrosse Player of the Year

DURHAM – Duke men's lacrosse incoming freshman Andrew McAdorey was named the the USA Lacrosse National Player of the Year in boys' lacrosse, USA Lacrosse announced Thursday. McAdorey will arrive on Duke's campus in August.

A midfielder, McAdorey recently completed his senior season for St. Anthony's, leading the Friars to a 10-2 overall record. The Long Island native finished the season with 21 goals and 27 assists and while those numbers aren't out of this world, his impact is felt all over the field.

"Andrew is not a stats-driven kid, which for a superstar is odd," St.
