The 2020 Julius Erving Award Watch List has been released and Duke’s Matthew Hurt was named as one of the 20 candidates.
The Julius Erving Award is given by the National Basketball Hall of Fame and presented to the best small forward in the country. This is the sixth year the award will be presented.
From early reports, Hurt has been one of the best players in practice so far for the Blue Devils. Fans will get their first look at him in a Duke uniform this Friday night at Countdown to Craziness.
