Several years ago, Coach K pointed out something that, in retrospect, is pretty obvious: with the exception of a few guys, almost everyone in the NBA is, to some extent or another, a role player.
So once you get past Steph, LeBron, Giannis, Zion, Jayson, Trae, Luka and a few others, everyone is down in the galley rowing hard.
And that includes former Blue Devil Mason Plumlee.
One of the three Plumlee brothers to play at Duke and win national championships, Mason is the last one in the league (Miles had injuries which cut his career short though he has played overseas too and Marshall of course opted to join the Army and is now America’s biggest Ranger).
