BOSTON, Mass. – MaKayla Mason turned in a strong effort in her NCAA Indoor Championship debut on Saturday as the graduate student saw her incredible season in the women's shot put culminated with United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-America Second Team honors.
Representing the Duke throws unit at the national meet, Mason battled amid a stacked competition field and ultimately went on to place 15th overall, locking up the first All-America honor of her career. She made her third throw the charm, chucking the shot put 15.
