WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The Duke track & field team opened competition at the Camel City Invitational Friday evening in Winston-Salem, N.C., at the JDL Fast Track. The competition featured one mark that ranks in Duke’s record books and 18 top-10 finishes.
Junior Laura Marty headlined the action for the Blue Devils Friday in Winston-Salem as she notched the third-best clearance in Duke indoor history in the pole vault competition, clearing 14-1.25 (4.30m). Marty’s first-place mark is also an ACC qualifying mark and currently ranks third in the conference this season and 13th in the country.
