DURHAM, N.C. – Junior Erin Marsh of the Duke track & field team was named the Duke Student-Athlete of the Week following a gold-medal performance in the pentathlon at the ACC Indoor Championships in South Bend, Ind.
Marsh took first place in three of her five events on the opening night of ACCs. She set a school record in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.29 seconds, before besting the field in the high jump (1.70 meters) and long jump (5.96 meters). She tied a personal-best mark of 11.71 meters (38-5.0 feet) in the shot put to place second, and closed out the evening with a sixth-place time of 2:22.
