EUGENE, Ore. – Graduate student Erin Marsh got off to a strong start in the heptathlon at the NCAA Outdoor Championships on Friday, as the Buford, Ga., native currently sits in second place with 3,674 points after the completion of the first four events.
Marsh's performance on day one was highlighted by a pair of personal-best showings in the 100m hurdles and 200m dash. Marsh opened the afternoon session with a bang, clocking 13.14 seconds to post the fastest time of her career in the 100m hurdles. The mark was good for second overall and improved her No.
