EUGENE, Ore. – In a busy day of action for Duke track & field at the U.S. Olympic Trials, senior Erin Marsh led the way, completing day one of the heptathlon and sitting in ninth place after the first four events at Hayward Field.
Marsh got off to a quick start in the 100m hurdles, earning 1,111 points with a wind-assisted time of 13.09 seconds. While not an official time for record purposes, it is the fastest wind-assisted mark of her track & field career and gave her sixth place overall at the conclusion on the opening event.
