Marcus Stroman finally has a win under his bet as a New York Met.
The former Blue Devil picked up his first career with his new team in the Mets’ 10-8 victory over the Atlanta Braves on Thursday night.
In his past two starts with the Mets, Stroman had been on the hook for losses in both games, but New York was able to bail him out of both games as they would come from behind to win.
Thursday night in Atlanta would be a little different as the Mets gave Stroman as three run cushion in the 1st inning, followed by three more runs in the 2nd inning.
