DURHAM, N.C.— They have been waiting 23 years for this moment and it all starts Thursday, June 8 in Galloway, N.J., as recent Duke University graduates Leona and Lisa Maguire will open their professional careers at the ShopRite LPGA Classic Presented by Acer. The tournament will be held at the Stockton Seaview Hotel and Golf Club Bay Course.
Prior to leaving Durham, Leona Maguire took time to talk about staying at Duke for four years and not turning professional earlier. She also reflected on her stellar career, how excited she is to turn professional and how special it will be to do all this with her sister, Lisa.
