DURHAM, N.C.- After an incredible four years with the Duke women’s golf program, Leona Maguire took time recently to look back at her collegiate career and ahead to a promising professional career in golf.
Since arriving in the fall of 2014, Maguire made an immediate impact with the Blue Devil program and leaves Durham as one of the top golfers in Duke and NCAA history. She re-wrote the Duke and NCAA record books and was a model student-athlete along the way.
Maguire compiled 10 wins, a 70.97 stroke average, 24 top five finishes, 35 top 10 placements, 39 top 20 finishes, 87 rounds of even or under par and 32 scores in the 60s … and that is just the start.
