FIFE, Scotland – After back-to-back under par rounds, Duke University senior Leona Maguire will move onto the weekend at the 2017 Ricoh Women’s British Open, which is taking place at Kingsbarns Golf Links in Fife, Scotland.
Maguire turned in rounds of 69 and 71 for a four-under-par, 140, and is currently tied for the low amateur in the event and tied 20th overall. With rounds of 65 and 68, In-Kyung Kim leads the British Open with an 11-under-par ledger.
A product of Cavan, Ireland, Maguire has rolled in eight birdies over the first two days, including three in the second round dealing with inclement weather conditions.
