DURHAM, N.C. – As the top golfers in the world tee it up at CordeValle from July 7-10 in the U.S. Women’s Open, junior Leona Maguire and two-time Blue Devil All-America Brittany Lang will represent Duke in San Martin, Calif.
A product of Cavan, Ireland, Maguire will see action in her first U.S. Women’s Open, after winning the Mark H. McCormack Medal last August as the leading women’s golfer in the 2015 World Amateur Golf Ranking. She received invitations to both the U.S. Open and The Open Championship for winning the award.
