BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Sophomore Amina Maatoug's runner-up finish in the women's 6K race headlined a morning of racing for Duke cross country at the Paul Short Run.
Maatoug posted the top overall finish for the Blue Devils, men or women, at the Goodman Campus Cross Country Course. She clocked 19:34.6 to finish second among the 416-member field.
In the team standings, the Duke men checked in at fifth in the 8K race with 157 points, while the women totaled 321 points to finish 10th on the 6K course.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Graduate student Matyas Csiki-Fejer led the way for the Blue Devil men on the 8K course, finishing 16th with a time of 23:20.
